All the staff I meet are fun and seem very caring. The general atmosphere of the place when I visit seems light and friendly, I sense no stress amongst the staff and consider the general feeling of the home to be good and positive.

Dear G.P. and the team, I am writing to thank you for the excellent quality of care my Dad received whilst at Langley Court. Dad was discharged from hospital on a Friday evening and arrived at Langley Court very confused and vulnerable. He was greeted by 3 of your staff who addressed him by name, talked to him, and made him feel welcome. I visited again 2 days later and found my Dad in good spirits, walking confidently across the lounge with a walking stick. He talked about how nice the food was and how friendly all the staff were. Even during my visit, I saw how all the clients were treated with kindness, patience and respect for their particular need. Their physical environment was comfortable and bright, decorated with examples of therapy work and photographs of client enjoying activities and celebrations. Dad was due a blood test for his medication during his stay with you. Staff were prompt in contacting the district nurse service, when no-one arrived, in order for this to take place. In addition, the staff were very prompt in in contacting me for assistance with the GP’s surgery in endorsing the need to have Dad’s medication delivered to a local pharmacy. The medication was kept securely, administered correctly, and with detailed records kept. Finally, thank you for making all members of the family and friends welcome, at any reasonable time during the day (including the family dog who particularly enjoyed all the attention he enjoyed from everybody!) We were impressed with the procedure for ensuring that the front door was secured after arrival and departure, to ensure that the clients were safe. Dad returned to care in his own home after leaving you. He returned having gained confidence, with not only an increase in weight and strength, but with a huge boost to his general well-being. The excellent care he received at Langley Court enabled all this to happen. Thank You
